Look-alikes in British Columbia

Trailing blackcurrant (Ribes laxiflorum) produces poor-tasting berries that can be similar-looking. It differs in that it is a low (under 1 m), spreading or climbing shrub, the flowers are saucer-shaped, and the leaves are deeply five-lobed.
