  • varieties in British Columbia are Common knotgrass (Polygonum aviculare), Common knotweed (Polygonum arenastrum) and Mountain knotweed (Polygonum douglasii).

  • raw plants eaten in quantity may cause stomach upset and/or diarrhea.
