Look-alikes in Alberta

The edible Tremella foliacea differs in that it grows in tightly packed, leafy clusters and only rarely occurs on conifers. The edible Exidia recisa differs in that it is smaller (up to 4 cm broad) and is brown to purple-brown in color.
